Andreas Kaiser (economist)

Andreas Kaiser (born April 8, 1963 in Letmathe ) is a German economist . At the private University of Applied Sciences Europe (formerly Business and Information Technology School ) in Iserlohn , he teaches knowledge and innovation management.

Life

After graduating from high school in Hohenlimburg and two years of military service in a naval aviation squadron of the Bundeswehr, Andreas Kaiser studied mechanical engineering and economics at RWTH Aachen from the winter semester 1984/85 to 1992 . In 1985 he became a member of the Corps Franconia Fribergensis . In 1990/91 he was the first on-site spokesman for the Weinheim Senior Citizens' Convention . In 1993 he went to the University of St. Gallen , where he obtained a Dr. oec. received his doctorate. He then obtained a Knowledge Master at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . Between 1990 and 1997 he worked as a product manager, project manager and management assistant for the Schuh Group at its locations in Würselen and St. Gallen . He was then employed as a project manager at Freudenberg Seals and Vibration Control for two years before he was promoted to Head of Knowledge Management at Freudenberg Research Services . Between 2001 and 2004 he was also a member of the VDI specialist committee “Innovation Networks”. Since 2004 he has been working as a freelance management consultant in the field of knowledge and innovation management. He has joined the metalogikon network.

At the Business and Information Technology School in Iserlohn he has been working as a specialist lecturer with a professorship in this subject area since 2006 . He is very critical of the Bologna Process .
