Andreas Karpfinger

Andreas Karpfinger (born September 4, 1862 in Markgrafneusiedl ; † November 22, 1926 ibid) was an Austrian politician ( CSP ) and business owner. From 1909 to 1926 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

After primary school, Karpfinger attended a preparatory course for admission to the teacher training institute, but became a farmer in his home town of Markgraf-Neusiedl. He was elected to the local council in 1894 and took over the office of mayor in 1900. He was also on the district road committee, district school council and poor council . Karpfinger also acted as chairman of the Lower Austrian beet farmers' association, was chairman of the agricultural district association and member of the state culture council. He was sworn in on January 8, 1909 as a member of the rural communities of Wolkersdorf and Groß-Enzersdorf in the state parliament of the Archduchy under the Enns and was a member of the provisional state parliament of Lower Austria between November 5, 1918 and May 4, 1919 after the First World War . He was then re-elected to the state parliament and sworn in on May 20, 1919, where he belonged to the Lower Austria-Land Curia between November 30, 1920 and May 11, 1921. Karpfinger remained a member of the Lower Austrian Landtag until his death.
