Andreas Kottisch (born October 14, 1966 in Bremen ) is a German entrepreneur and politician ( SPD ) and was a member of the Bremen Parliament .

biography

Family, education and work

After graduating from the SZ an der Langen Reihe school in Bremen, Kottisch completed training and further education to become a commercial assistant in Hamburg from 1985 to 1988. From 1988 to 1989 he studied social sciences at the University of Oldenburg and from 1988 to 1992 he studied economics at the University of Oldenburg, Tulane University in New Orleans ( Louisiana ) and the University of Bremen . Since 1993 Kottisch has been an independent businessman in the information technology sector.

Kottisch is married and has four children.

politics

From 1999 to 2019 he was a member of the parliament. In the 2011 and 2015 citizenship elections, he was elected to the citizenship by voting. He was u. a. Represented in the committee for port affairs in the state of Bremen and deputy spokesman for the state and municipal deputation for economy, labor and ports.
He was the economic policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group.

The public prosecutor's office in Bremen started investigations against Kottisch in the summer of 2015 because of the allegation that his company had invited employees of the Bremerhaven city administration to dinner as customers of the IT company. The proceedings were closed in 2016.
