Andreas Kramß (born June 12, 1962 in Neuhaus am Rennweg ) is a former German athlete from the German Democratic Republic (GDR) who was GDR pole vault champion in 1984 .

Kramß achieved fourth place in the hall and fifth place outdoors at the GDR championships in 1981. In 1982 he overcame the 5-meter mark for the first time and increased his best performance to 5.15 m, at the GDR championships he took sixth place both indoors and outdoors. After a sixth place at the indoor championships in 1983, Kramß was able to increase his best performance to 5.30 m in the outdoor season, at the GDR championships he took third place behind Olaf Kasten and Steffen Giebe with 5.00 m . In the 1984 indoor season, Kramß won the GDR championship title with 5.25 m, 25 centimeters ahead of Giebe and Detlef Pilz. On May 19, 1984 Kramß jumped in Dresden with 5.55 m new GDR record, which he exceeded Wolfgang Nordwigs 5.50 m, the victory height of the 1972 Olympic Games. At the GDR championships Kramß jumped 5.40 m and had Twenty centimeters ahead of Detlef Pilz and Olaf Kasten in second and third place. After 1984, Kramß only had a good placement when he was runner-up behind Christoph Pietz in 1986 with 5.20 m . As a GDR record holder, he was replaced by Uwe Langhammer in 1987 .

Kramß started for the SC Dynamo Berlin , the trained car mechanic had a height of 1.84 m and a competition weight of 76 kg. In the documents on state doping in the GDR that became public after the reunification , the name of Kramß was also found among the doped athletes.
