Andreas M. Fleckner

Andreas Martin Fleckner (* 1980 in Gießen ) is a German legal scholar .

Life

He passed the first state examination in 2003 in Hesse and the second state examination in Hamburg in 2011. He obtained the Legum Magister at Harvard Law School (2005), the doctorate at the University of Regensburg for Dr. iur. (2008 with Reinhard Zimmermann and Inge Kroppenberg ), the examination of professional suitability as a stock exchange trader in Stuttgart (2011) and the Master of Public Administration at the Harvard Kennedy School (2015). He was a lecturer at the Bucerius Law School (2009–2019) and research group leader at the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance (2016–2018). He heads the Otto Hahn Group for Financial Market Regulation at the institute (since 2019) and teaches as a professor at the Humboldt University in Berlin (since 2020).

His main research interests are civil law , commercial , corporate and capital market law, and Roman law and European legal history .
