Andreas Mollandin

Andreas Mollandin (born August 4, 1964 in Malmeneich ) is a former German hockey player .

Mollandin grew up in Hadamar and began his sporting career at Limburger HC , with which he became German runner-up in 1982. In 1984 the Limburgers reached the second place in the hall before they could win their only title outdoors in the same year; The first indoor title followed in 1985. In 1987 Mollandin was German runner-up with SC 1880 Frankfurt and German champion in 1989. At the end of his career, Mollandin was a player-coach at Limburger HC.

The midfielder won the 1982 Junior World Championship. He made his debut in 1984 in the German national hockey team . In 1988 Mollandin was part of the winning team at the European Indoor Championships. At the Olympic Games in 1988 Mollandin was used in two games and received the silver medal. Andreas Mollandin played a total of 61 international matches between 1984 and 1990, 10 of them indoors.
