Andreas Nedwal

Andreas Nedwal (born November 19, 1891 in Gerersdorf ; † December 31, 1975 in Güssing ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmer. He was a member of the Burgenland Landtag and a member of the National Council.

Life

He came from Gerersdorf bei Güssing, a district of the Gerersdorf-Sulz community . He completed elementary school in his hometown and later learned to be a locksmith. He initially worked as a laborer and eventually took over his father's farm. In 1932 he was the commander of the local volunteer fire department and was considered a leading figure.

politics

From 1945 to 1949 Nedwal was elected member of the Burgenland Landtag and from November 8, 1949 to June 9, 1959, was a member of the Austrian National Council . Nedwal belonged to the ÖVP and in 1952 managed the dairy- storage cooperative.
