Andreas Ortner

Andreas Ortner (born December 3, 1975 in Bad Reichenhall ) is a German racing cyclist .

Andreas Ortner drove in the elite class from 2005 to the end of the 2007 season for Austrian UCI Continental teams . On the fourth stage of the Tour of Austria 2005 , a mountain time trial to the Kitzbüheler Horn , he came third. At the 2006 German time trial championship , he finished sixth. In the 2007 season, Ortner was third in the German Mountain Championship , fifth in the time trial championship , and he finished tenth in the overall classification of the Tour of Austria .

Even after completing his international career, Ortner was active as an elite cyclist. So he won z. B. 2009 the Bavarian championships in individual time trial and on the mountain and came ninth in the German time trial championships . He repeated his success at the Bavarian Mountain Championships in 2014. At the German Mountain Championships in 2014, he won the silver medal.

In addition, Ortner successfully participated in competitions in the Masters age group and was a. a. World champion in the Masters 1 road race , international bike marathons and won the Großglockner mountain time trial from 2008 to 2010, 2014 and 2015 .
