Andreas Plathner

Andreas Plathner (* 1495 in Stolberg (Harz) ; † 1557 there ) was a German goldsmith and armorer, innkeeper, entrepreneur and mayor of the city of Stolberg.

In 1514 he became a lay brother of St. Sebastian and owned two houses on the market square of Stolberg and a copper hammer in Nöschenrode near Wernigerode .

His daughter Anna married the mayor Thomas Schütze from Marktstrasse in Wernigerode .
