Andreas Resch (Manager)
Andreas Resch (born March 23, 1953 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) has been a member of the Management Board of Modalis Management AG since January 1, 2009 . From January 1, 2004 to December 31, 2008, he was Managing Director of Bayer Business Services (BBS) and CIO of Bayer AG .
Andreas Resch studied economics and social sciences at the Free University of Berlin (focus on organization and data processing) and graduated in 1976 with a diploma. He was then a research assistant and in 1982 started working on the state companies. State to the theoretical determination productive areas of activity doctorate .
He started his professional career in 1983 as commercial manager at the Berlin city cleaning companies (BSR). Further stations were Francotyp-Postalia (responsible for data processing and organization, 1988–1993), Herlitz (1993–1997 commercial director of the foreign companies, 1997–2000 board member for logistics and information technology) and Fiege Deutschland GmbH (2000–2003 managing director and CIO), marriage he moved to Bayer AG.
In 1999 he received the “IT User of the Year” award from the Gartner Group and Computerwoche for his innovative IT solutions.
Andreas Resch left Bayer Business Services on December 31, 2008. He moved to the Management Board of Modalis Management AG.
