Andreas Seger

Andreas Seger (* 1962 ) is a German composer , author and former music editor .

Life

Andreas Seger, grew up in Rottweil am Neckar, studied school music after graduating from high school and worked full-time as a music editor for Südwestrundfunk in Baden-Baden and Mainz for twenty years . As a part-time job, he almost always worked as a choir director. Over 200 works, almost exclusively choral pieces and choral compositions, have been published by various music publishers.

In March 2011, edition maya published his first book, the volume of poetry “Gegenüber” with 28 love sonnets, and in August 2012, the volume of poetry “Shadow Lights” published by Gerhard Hess Verlag. Some poems and short stories have also been published in the online literary magazine “eXperimenta”. At the end of the 2011 summer semester, he finished his studies in “ Creative Writing ” at the INKAS Institute for Creative Writing with Rüdiger Heins , where he also completed his training as a poetry teacher until September 2012.

Since the beginning of 2011 Andreas Seger has led the church choir of the Evangelical Johannesgemeinde in Bingen am Rhein . In 2013, together with his wife Chris Blomen-Pfaff, he founded the publishing house WortLausch Kulturpuls, with which the two poetry educators and lecturers for natural writing & healing poetry offer the opportunity to publish the texts of their workshop and seminar participants. In the meantime Seger has also published two of his own volumes of poetry: “The Hummel and the Hippopotamus - lyrical CharikaDURen about MOLLige friendship and other obstacles” (new edition 2015), as well as the bibliophile volume “Anima expressis verbis - 30 photo sonnets”.

After working in Schöneberg / Hunsrück and Bingen am Rhein (since the beginning of the 90s) , he lives in Bad Ems an der Lahn .
