Andreas Theurer (director)

Andreas Theurer (born 1965 in Düsseldorf ) is a German film director and film author.

Live and act

Andreas Theurer was born in Düsseldorf in 1965. He graduated from the Free University of Berlin with a degree in film studies in 1995 . He then worked in various film productions as a script / continuity and assistant director for directors such as Tom Tykwer , Detlev Buck and Leander Haußmann .

Since 2005 he has worked as a film director and film author. He directed a. a. for three episodes of the second season of the TV series Stromberg , for one season of the TV series Lohmeyer on Tour and for two seasons of the Internet TV series Stromberg @ Seven One - more knowledge does nothing! . He also directed various commercials. His feature film script Brazil was funded with project funding from the Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein Film Fund.

Andreas Theurer lives with his wife and daughter in Hamburg .
