Andreas Turkat

Andreas Turkat (born July 8, 1961 in Kirchen (Sieg) ; † February 4, 2008 in Berlin ) was a Hamburg politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) and a former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life and politics

Turkat was registered as a student during his membership in the Hamburg citizenship. He was a member of parliament in the 14th electoral term from 1991 to 1993. There he sat for his group in the Committee on Home Affairs and the Civil Service, the Committee on the Situation and Rights of Foreigners and the Committee on Science and Research.
