Andreas Wilhelm (* 1971 in Solingen ) is a German writer .

Life

Andreas Wilhelm was born in Solingen in 1971 and grew up in South Africa , Switzerland , Nigeria and Portugal because of his father's professional activity in the diplomatic service of the Foreign Office . After graduating from high school , he moved to Hamburg and began his professional career in the multimedia sector after completing a graphic design training course. He headed the Hamburg conception department of the leading German multimedia agency at the time, gave training courses and lectured at specialist conferences. Since 2011 he has been working as a project manager in the corporate headquarters of an international company in Zurich .

Andreas Wilhelm has been writing books for children and young people since 1997, initially dealing with computer and internet topics. Since 2006, novels have been added that deal with riddles, history and past cultures. His debut novel, "Project Babylon", was translated into nine languages, and the film rights were sold to Constantin TV Produktion .

In 2005 he founded the Montségur Authors Forum , was a member of the board of the Hamburg Authors' Association and from 2011 to 2015 deputy chairman of the Federal Board of Directors of the Association of German Writers (VS in ver.di ).
