Andrei Chindriş (born January 12, 1999 in Cluj-Napoca ) is a Romanian football player .

Career

society

Chindriș began his career at the Universitatea Cluj . In January 2017 he moved to FC Botoșani , which promptly loaned him to the second division club FC Academica Clinceni . For Academica Clinceni he made seven appearances in Liga II by the end of the 2016/17 season . For the 2017/18 season he was awarded again to the second division, this time to the CS Știința Miroslava . For Știința Miroslava he came to 29 appearances in the second division, from which he had to relegate with the club at the end of the season.

After the end of the second loan, he returned to Botoșani for the 2018/19 season. He made his Liga 1 debut in July 2018 when he came on as a substitute for Cătălin Golofca on the first day of that season against CFR Cluj in added time. In September 2018 he scored his first goal in the Romanian top division in a 1-1 draw against FC Voluntari . By the end of the season he came to eleven missions for Botoşani in the top division. He made 33 league games in the 2019/20 season.

National team

In 2016 Chindriș played at least six times for the Romanian U-18 selection . In September 2019 he made his debut against Denmark for the U-21 team .
