Quitéria da Costa (* 1967 or 1968 ) is a politician from East Timor . She is a member of the União Democrática Timorense (UDT).

Career

In 1999, Costa ran in the 2001 elections at number 6 on the UDT list in the Constituent Assembly. The UDT only won two seats, but candidates gave up their seats so that they could move up and take an active role in the assembly. She took over her seat on the Systematisation and Harmonization Committee from Isabel da Costa Ferreira .

With the independence of East Timor on May 20, 2002 , the assembly became a national parliament and Costa deputy. Here she was a member of Commissions B (Commission on Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security), E (Commission on Poverty Elimination, Rural and Regional Development and Gender Equality) and G (Commission on Infrastructure).
