Andrei Ivanov (writer)
Andrej Ivanov , Андрей Иванов (* 1971 in Tallinn , Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic ) is an Estonian-Russian writer.
Life
Ivanov studied at the Philological Faculty of Tallinn University , then worked as a teacher and as a social worker in Denmark .
His novel Hanuman's Journey to Lolland was shortlisted for the Russian Booker Prize in 2011 . Ivanov was awarded the Estonian Kultuurkapitali kirjanduspreemia award five times (2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2019).
