Andreu Buenafuente Moreno (born January 24, 1965 in Reus , Catalonia , Spain ) is a Spanish comedian, television presenter and producer.

Life

He started working as a sports journalist for the broadcaster Cadena de Ondas Populares Españolas (COPE) at the age of 17 . In 1989 he presented his own program, El Terrat, on the Catalan radio station Cadena SER . In order to be able to employ his own employees, he founded the production company El Terrat , which is dedicated to productions for "television, radio, advertising and cybernautics ".

Buenafuente made his first television appearances in the first Catalan television channel TV3 and later in broadcasts on Antena 3 . Other successes were Sense Títol ( Untitled ) and the late night show La Cosa Nostra ( Our Cause ). After his departure, accompanied by rumors and polemics, he started a new program in October 2002 with similar content but a different format, again on TV3: Una Altra Cosa ( Another thing ).

When the program ran out in June 2004, Buenafuente accepted the offer to be broadcast nationwide on Antena 3. The shipment should follow a similar line as Una Altra Cosa .

On January 11, 2005, the new show Buenafuente ran for the first time. The audience numbers exceeded expectations in the first few months. When the success waned after two years, the program was discontinued on June 28, 2007.

Just a month later, on July 26th, Buenafuente announced that Buenafuente would now switch to La Sexta television . The first episode aired on September 17th at midnight.

In 2002, together with Santi Millán, Buenafuente launched the portal captura.org , which shows spontaneous digital photographs.

Buenafuente has worked for various newspapers, including a. for El País , La Vanguardia and Marie Claire . There are also various compilations of his humorous monologues in book form.

Awards

Buenafuente received several awards in the course of his career, including the Premio Ondas . The Micrófono de Oro he did not attend because he, together with the right-wing liberal journalists Federico Jiménez Losantos should be excellent.
