Andrew Landenberger (born September 15, 1966 in Grafton ) is an Australian sailor who also started for Germany .
successes
Andrew Landenberger took part in the Tornado boat class at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta . Together with Mitch Booth , he secured the silver medal when they finished second with 42 points overall behind the Spanish duo José Luis Ballester and Fernando León .
In 1997 he moved to Germany, where he worked as a sail developer and manufacturer in Titisee-Neustadt . With his business partner Felix Egner , he again took part in international competitions from 2005 under the German flag and became world champion in the Topcat boat class that same year . He had already won the Moth title in 1989 . He left the company ahead of the 2016 Olympics, where he coached Jason Waterhouse and Lisa Darmanin .
