Jason Waterhouse (born November 8, 1991 in Sydney ) is an Australian sailor .
successes
Jason Waterhouse took part in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in the boat class Nacra 17 . Together with his cousin Lisa Darmanin , he reached the decisive medal race after ten races , which the two of them finished in second place. In the overall standings they got 78 points, one point behind the Olympic champions Santiago Lange and Cecilia Carranza Saroli . Due to the better placement in the medal race , they finished second overall, ahead of Thomas Zajac and Tanja Frank, who were tied on points, and thus received the silver medal.
At world championships he won the bronze medal with Darmanin in Santander in 2014 and the silver medal in Aarhus in 2015 . More bronze medals followed in 2019 and 2020, which he also won with Darmanin.
