ISAF World Sailing Championships 2014

49ers at the 2014 World Championships

The 4th ISAF World Sailing Championships took place from September 8 to 21, 2014 in Santander , Spain .

A total of ten competitions were held in different boat classes, three for men and four for women as well as three open competitions.

The World Championships were also the main qualifying competitions for the sailing competitions at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro . 75% of all quota places were allocated here.

Results

The placements in the individual regattas of a competition are converted into points. The result of the worst placement is not taken into account as a deletion result. The addition of the points determines the final placement, with the boat with the lowest number of points winning.
