Iain Jensen (born May 23, 1988 in Newcastle ) is an Australian sailor .
successes
Iain Jensen took part in two Olympic Games . In 2012 he started together with Nathan Outteridge in the 49er dinghy , with which he finished the regatta in first place in front of the New Zealand and Danish crews , making the two Olympic champions . At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , they finished second behind New Zealanders Peter Burling and Blair Tuke , thus securing the silver medal.
At world championships he was three times world champion with Nathan Outteridge between 2009 and 2015: 2009 in Riva del Garda , 2011 in Perth and 2012 in Zadar . In addition, the two were twice vice world champions and once third.
