Pavlos Kagialis ( Greek Παύλος Καγιαλής ; born July 14, 1984 in Thessaloniki ) is a Greek sailor .
successes
Pavlos Kagialis participated in the 470 dinghy at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in part. Together with Panagiotis Mantis , he finished third with 58 points behind the Croatian and Australian boats and thus won the bronze medal. Although they were equal on points with Mathew Belcher and William Ryan , they ended the final medal race , which was decisive in the event of a tie, in tenth place, directly behind the two ninth-placed Australians. Kagialis and Mantis won bronze medals at world championships in La Rochelle in 2013 and in Santander in 2014 .
