Andrew Derek Taylor (born August 1, 1986 in Hartlepool ) is an English football player .

Career

society

Andrew Taylor learned to play football in the youth of Middlesbrough FC as a defensive player. In his first season with the Boro , he completed seven league appearances from the start and failed to impose himself as an alternative for the regulars. Therefore, he was awarded for the 2005/06 season to Bradford City in Football League One . Taylor quickly established himself as a regular at the Bantams and played 24 games for Bradford by the end of the season. After his return to Middlesbrough he established himself on the left defense of Boro and extended his contract to 2011 at the end of January 2008. In the 2008/09 season Taylor completed 28 appearances in the Premier League for Middlesbrough, but rose with the club at the end of the season in the Championship. In the 2009/10 season Taylor was mostly a substitute again, Jonathan Grounds and Justin Hoyte were on the flanks. On August 31, 2010 Andrew Taylor moved to Watford FC on loan and returned to Boro in January 2011.

National team

Andrew Taylor went through all of England's youth national teams from the U-17. Taylor took part in the European Football Championship and the World Cup with England's U-17s in 2003 . The defender was also used in the U-19 European Football Championship in 2005 and reached the final of the tournament with England. He also took part in the European Championship with the U-21s in 2009 and made it into the final with England.
