Andrew Wilson (historian)

Andrew Wilson (born October 15, 1961 ) is a British historian , political scientist and Eastern Europe specialist.

Life

Andrew Wilson studied history at Oxford University and received his PhD from the London School of Economics in 1993 . He worked at Sidney Sussex College at the University of Cambridge . He is Senior Lecturer in Russian and Ukrainian Studies at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES) at University College London .

Wilson is a Senior Policy Fellow at the Think Tank European Council on Foreign Relations and a member of the board of directors of Ukraine Today , an English-language news broadcaster owned by Ukrainian media group 1 + 1 media . He is also an Honorary Fellow at the Think Tank Royal Institute of International Affairs .

He wrote several books and magazine articles, mainly on Russia , Ukraine and Belarus .
