Andri Stoffel (* 24. October 1984 in Zurich ) was a Swiss ice hockey player who spent his entire professional career with the ZSC Lions in the National League A spent.

Career

Andri Stoffel began his career as an ice hockey player in the junior division of the GCK Lions , for whose professional team he was active in the National League B from 2001 to 2004 . In parallel, the defenders came from the 2002/03 season for the cooperation partners of the GCK Lions ZSC Lions in the National League A used. In the 2007/08 season , the former national junior player became Swiss champion for the first time with the ZSC Lions . The following year he won the Victoria Cup with the team from Zurich when he prevailed with the Lions against the Chicago Blackhawks from the National Hockey League . For the participation in the Victoria Cup the Zurich had qualified by winning the Champions Hockey League, which was held for the first time in the 2008/09 season. In this, however, due to an injury, Stoffel was not used in any of the games and was only on the ice in ten games in the Lions' NLA team. In these he remained pointless and punished.

In 2012 and 2014 he won two more championships with the ZSC, before he did not receive a contract extension after the 2014/15 season and then ended his career.

In addition to the sport of ice hockey studied Stoffel human engineering and later worked in parallel with Swiss Life .

International

On the international stage, Stoffel took part in the U20 Junior World Championship for Switzerland in 2004 . Two years earlier he was a member of the Swiss team that played at the U18 Junior World Championship .
