Lukas Grauwiler (born April 13, 1984 in Zurich ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with SC Langenthal in the National League B.

Career

Lukas Grauwiler began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth of the GCK Lions , for whose professional team he made his debut in the National League B in the 2000/01 season . After another two seasons with the GCK Lions in the NLB, the striker moved for the 2003/04 season to the Mississauga IceDogs from the Canadian top junior league Ontario Hockey League , with whom he went to the Guelph in the final of the J. Ross Robertson Cup Storm failed.

He then returned to his Swiss homeland, where he was signed by the ZSC Lions , for whom he has played since then and who became Swiss champions for the first time in the 2007/08 season . Through this success, the right-handed shooter qualified with his team for the newly founded Champions Hockey League , which he won with the ZSC Lions in the 2008/09 season after he and his team in the final against HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk from the Continental Hockey League asserted. In the resulting game of the Victoria Cup , Grauwiler managed the game winning goal in a 2-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks .

International

For Switzerland , Grauwiler took part in the U18 Junior World Championship in 2002 and the U20 Junior World Championship in 2004 .
