Andy Fahlke (born May 30, 1979 in Hamburg ) is a former German tennis player .

Career

His successes in youth included several Hamburg championship titles and victory in the North German Championship (U 14). He was German runner-up in singles (U 16) and German champion in doubles (U 18).

On February 21, 2000 he reached number 181 in the world rankings, his highest international ranking. His best results were the finals of the Challenger tournaments in Hamburg and Lübeck in 2000 and the finals in Wolfsburg in 2001. These tournaments took place in the hall on carpet, which was also his favorite flooring. On clay he was able to reach the semi-finals in Budapest in 2000 . He competed twice on the ATP Tour level : in 2000 he was in the main field of the singles competition in Munich thanks to a wildcard , and he also played in the main field of the doubles competition in Hamburg . Both times he was eliminated in the first round.

He ended his international career at the age of 23. Today Fahlke works as a tennis trainer for various clubs and in his own tennis school at TC Renchen. Fahlke also works as a psychotherapist and coach.
