Andrew (Andy) Latimer (born May 17, 1949 ) is a British musician and founding member of the rock band Camel . Latimer is primarily responsible for vocals and guitar at Camel, but also plays flute and keyboards on many albums . In 1991 Latimer founded his own record label, "Camel Productions", which today sells all of Camel's albums.

On May 18, 2007, Camel's management announced that Andy Latimer had the blood disorder polycythemia . Due to the effects of this illness and the rigors of Latimer moving to his English homeland, it was difficult for Camel to produce more music after completing the “Farewell Tour” in 2003. The “Farewell Tour” was already planned as a farewell tour under the impression of Latimer's illness. He has been musically active again since 2010. His first "musical sign of life" was his participation on the CD "Random Acts of Beauty" by David Minasian. Here Andy Latimer plays the guitar on the first track called "Masquerade".
