Andy Zahradnik

Andy Zahradnik (* 1958 in Vienna ) is an Austrian moderator, author and screenwriter.

Career

In 1973 Andy Zahradnik dropped out of school and began an apprenticeship at CBS (now Sony Music Entertainment ) as an industrial clerk. There he rose to Director Artist Marketing and later Label Director. In 1993 he moved to Frankfurt am Main, where he worked as a label head and later as director promotion for Sony Music Media Germany.

1998 moved Zahradnik back to Austria and made itself a partner of media control ( Gfk International ) and MusicTrace independently . From 1998 he determined the Austrian Airplay Charts and the Ö3 Austria Top 40 .

For the German specialist magazine “ Musikmarkt ”, Zahradnik was an Austrian and Eastern European editor until the magazine was discontinued in the summer of 2016, and he also writes for the popular magazine “Ticket Magazin”, which is published in Austria.

He is also active as a book author, screenwriter and ghostwriter in various television projects and stage shows; inter alia as director of the Live Entertainment Award LEA .

In May 2001 he received the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the category music partner of the year for his activities around the charts .
