Anemone rivularis is a plant of the genus Anemone ( Anemone ) and thus the family Ranunculaceae ( Ranunculaceae ).
description
Anemone rivularis is a perennial, herbaceous plant that reaches heights of 20 to 60, rarely up to 120 centimeters. It forms a turnip . The 5 to 10 bracts are white, blue, purple or mauve. The end of the stylus is hooked. The fruits are not winged, glabrous and weakly compressed.
The flowering period extends from May to June.
The number of chromosomes is 2n = 14, 16, 24 or 48.
Occurrence
Anemone rivularis occurs in Bhutan, Nepal, Sikkim, China, Sri Lanka and Indonesia (Sumatra). The species grows on the edges of forests, in grasslands and on river and lake banks at altitudes of 800 to 4900 meters.

Anemone rivularis is rarely used as an ornamental plant for groups of trees. She has been in culture since 1840.
