Anfernee Lopena (born February 11, 1994 in Tagbilaran ) is a Filipino sprinter .

Athletic career

Anfernee Lopena gained his first international experience at the 2017 Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar , where he was eliminated in the semifinals of the 100-meter run with 10.95 seconds . He then won the bronze medal at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur in 39.11 s with the Philippine 4 x 100 meter relay and was eliminated in the individual competition with 10.71 s in the preliminary run. The following year he took part with the relay at the Asian Games in Jakarta and was eliminated there with 39.59 s in the preliminary round. At the Asian Championships in Doha in 2019 , he was eliminated in the semifinals with 10.66 s and finished sixth in the relay in 40.10 s. At the beginning of December, he finished fifth at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas, his home country, in 10.61 seconds and won the bronze medal behind the teams from Thailand and Malaysia in 40.04 seconds. He also won the mixed 4 x 100 meter relay in 41.67 s.
