Angel D'Agostino
Angel Domingo Emilio D'Agostino (born May 25, 1900 in Buenos Aires ; † January 15, 1991 ibid) was an Argentine musician ( pianist ), singer , arranger , band leader and composer of tango .
Life
Angel D'Agostino started studying music at an early age. At the age of eleven he founded his first orchestra, which played Argentine music under the name Orquesta Infantil de Angel D'Agostino .
He later turned to tango and founded his popular tango orchestra Angel D'Agostino y su Orquesta Típica in Buenos Aires in 1934 . Among other things, the singer Angel Vargas was under contract with this orchestra. With him, Angel D'Agostino also formed the Dúo D'Agostino-Vargas . Angel D'Agostino's orchestra existed until the 1960s.
