Angela Erbe

Angela Erbe (* July 14, 1942 ; † August 18, 2020 ) was a German author and politician ( SPD ).

Life

Angela Erbe comes from a Protestant pastor's family in what was then the GDR . She grew up as the oldest of four siblings. She is a general practitioner and was employed at various clinics until she last worked in the Königs Wusterhausen health department. She is married to Wolfgang Erbe, a company doctor at Schönefeld Airport, and has three daughters with him.

In the autumn of 1989 she joined the local association for the peripheral areas in the Berlin-Treptow district association in the newly founded SDP , the predecessor of the Eastern SPD. After the election in early 1990, Erbe became chairwoman of the Eichwalde community council. In 2002 she retired.
