Angelika Aliti

Angelika Aliti (born May 26, 1946 in Hamburg ) is an author , philosopher , cultural worker and theater maker.

“Only writing remains. I feel like breathing. It keeps me alive. ”This sentence sums up what defines Angelika Aliti: writing, as a playwright, journalist, therapist and writer.

Her books address the diverse possibilities of finding your own soul and developing it despite all limitations. Magic and energies that work systemically are described as life support. Her best-known works include "The Wild Woman" (1994), "Power and Magic" (1998), "The Measure of All Things" (2000). Most recently, “Who is sitting on my wings” (2006) appeared.

In 2002 Angelika Aliti founded the women's guild "Die Schönfärberinnen", which is dedicated to philosophical discourse from a female perspective.

As a theater maker and cultural worker, Angelika Aliti works with experimental concepts. She developed the “Magic Salon” for the Fürth City Theater . In this theater project she is also on stage herself. She designed the “Maera Nike Culture School” in Styria . A project that enables you to learn culture. As early as the 1980s she founded and directed the independent theater group “Regentag Comic Revue” and worked with the director Klaus Hemmerle . With her work she wants to "make the vast land of the soul visible to an audience".

Angelika Aliti was born to Greek parents. Her migration background let her find out early on what a great writer once said: “Today I accepted that I am nowhere at home and can be at home everywhere. This is not the worst situation for a writer. ”( George Tabori , taz , May 24, 1994)

Angelika Aliti has made her own home on the Austrian "Schlangenberg", a country estate in the southeast of Styria . The Hanseatic Greek woman with an Austrian passport began her path of the word with an apprenticeship as a journalist and reporter at the dpa (German Press Agency). She later worked as a culture editor and broadcaster ( BBC ) as well as a consultant for numerous artists. She worked as a therapist and seminar leader in Vienna. Her lecture tours take her through the entire German-speaking area.
