The Graphology has an unscientific Image and is not sufficient for a professional consulting practice in its traditional form from. Therefore, Seibt had the task of looking for a scientific justification of the psychology of writing through transparent methods and a further development for consulting practice. Together with Georg Seibt, she developed an IT system for HR consulting that has been used in practice for around 15 years. In order to make the method of interpretation of the psychology of writing easy to understand and teachable, she developed principles of interpretation and systems for writing description and personality description.

A clear distinction can be made between graphology and forensic font comparison : Graphology aims to capture character traits from handwriting. The forensic Schriftvergleichung it comes to Urheberidentifierzierung a questionable signature piece. Writing psychology explores the psychological, physiological, technical writing and social development conditions of handwritten writing with empirical methods. The knowledge of such conditions of creation is important for both writing psychological advice and for comparing scriptures. B. Intentions, writing practice and material-technical influences must be recognized. Seibt analyzed the social science dimension of forensic handwriting comparison and called for social science research. Understanding intentions is central to many hypotheses in which the comparison of scriptures is central, as has been shown in case studies.

In addition, Seibt has rendered outstanding services to the scientific development of methods of forensic writing comparison, which have also found their way into her practical work as publicly appointed and sworn experts: While a narrative, narrative written description was taught in her training, she has scales and measuring techniques defined in order to capture font characteristics as an empirical basis for a comparative analysis of fonts. She showed rules for evaluating findings and understood hypotheses as tools for evaluating findings that were used in her forensic written reports. While a verbal and everyday concept of probability was used in her training, she gained a numerical degree of probability as the result of an investigation by comparing hypotheses.

Signatures and wills. Practice of forensic writing examination is a standard work of forensic writing comparison. It “defines itself as a practical aid for laypeople; with the aim of better understanding the questions that arise in connection with forensic written examinations in court proceedings ”. "It deals with frequently occurring problems such as the burden of proof, connecting facts, falsification of documents, examination of photocopies, font development, fonts with a high degree of variation and the importance of the degree of probability as a result of an investigation." "It contains a wealth of questions and aspects that arise in court hearings and the practical work of comparing scriptures and knowledge of which is essential for practice. ”“ The easily legible and useful for legal practice handbook is a qualified and therefore indispensable aid in establishing the truth. ”

Quality assurance and the information of judges and lawyers were important to him. She got involved through publications in criminalistics and the Neue Juristische Wochenschrift , at the Week of Justice in Munich 2000, on the 5th Munich Inheritance Law and Probate Court Day of the Bavarian Bar Association in 2009, and at the Society for Legal Information 2009.
