Angelo Pavia

Angelo Pavia (born February 23, 1858 in Venice , † May 26, 1933 in Rome ) was an Italian lawyer and politician.

After studying law, he worked as a lawyer. From 1893 to 1919 he was a member of the Camera dei deputati , in which he belonged to the left, for seven legislative terms . Pavia was three times secretary of the parliamentary presidency, twice undersecretary of state in the Ministry of Finance under Luigi Luzzatti and Giovanni Giolitti . On October 3, 1920, Pavia was appointed Senator of the Kingdom of Italy . In the same year he led the referendums in the wake of the Versailles Treaty as voting commissioner in Marienwerder .
