Anicius Olybrius
Anicius Olybrius was an Eastern Roman senator and consul in 491.
Anicius Olybrius was the son of Areobindus and Anicia Iuliana , the daughter of the emperor Olybrius . Anicius Olybrius was married to the Emperor Anastasius's niece , Irene.
Anicius Olybrius was appointed consul in 491 when he was barely older than 10 years. Before the year 533 he was appointed Patricius . He hardly appeared politically. Since he was recalled from exile by Emperor Justinian I in 533 , he, like many other senators, was banished after the Nika uprising .
