Anik Kadinski (born April 17, 1975 in Vienna ) is an Austrian pop singer .

Life

Anik Kadinski comes from Vienna, has a Polish mother Elżbieta Góralczyk and was brought to music by her Austrian father. She sang in the school band and graduated from the Schubert Conservatory with a degree in jazz singing . She then sang in various bands before meeting producer and keyboardist Florian Glaszer in 2000, with whom she has worked since then.

She started a solo career and released her debut album I Don't Mind in 2002 . Despite good reviews, however, sales remained low. In the same year she took part in the Austrian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest and took fifth place with Be Somebody, Be Someone .

The second album My Definition followed in 2004 and the single Another Goodbye became a radio hit. It was able to advance to number 18 in the Austrian charts. Four years passed before the third album. Previously, the single Dance in the Moonlight was released in 2008 , which was able to place itself in the charts again.

Kadinski is also a qualified interpreter for English and Polish.
