Larissa de Macedo Machado (born March 30, 1993 in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil ), known under the name Anitta , is a Brazilian singer , songwriter , actress and dancer . She signed a recording deal with Furacão 2000 in 2010. She gained fame in Brazil and other South American countries in 2013 with the song Show das Poderosas .

biography

Anitta is the youngest daughter of Míriam Macedo and Mauro Machado, who have been divorced since Anitta's childhood. Her brother Renan Machado is her producer.

She began her career at the age of eight when she joined the choir of the Santa Luzia Church in Rio de Janeiro . At the age of eleven she took an English course and later received dance lessons from her mother's teacher. At the age of 17 she decided to start a career as a singer. In the same year she won an important prize in Brazil with the “Revelation of Music” award .

Anitta was married to Thiago Magalhães from 2017 to 2018. They announced their divorce in September 2018. She lives with her mother and five dogs in a spacious, enclosed luxury villa complex in Barra da Tijuca .
