Anja Klotzbücher (born December 23, 1994 in Augsburg ) was a member of the Die Linke party in the Saxon state parliament between 2014 and 2019 .

Life

Anja Klotzbücher lived in Chemnitz since primary school age . During her school days she was initially involved in youth and education policy. In 2009 she re-founded the Chemnitz District School Council, from 2011 to 2013 she was on the board of the State School Council of Saxony. During this time she was largely responsible for organizing the student protests, days of action and large-scale demonstrations against the lack of teachers. Furthermore, in 2009 she won the Chemnitz Peace Prize together with the “Clever Owl” project, in which she was a student mediator.

Since 2013 she has been studying history and sociology at the TU Dresden . She is a member of the Left Youth Solid . In the state elections in Saxony on August 31, 2014, she was elected to the Saxon state parliament via the state list. There she was responsible for European politics within the group Die Linke . In addition, she took over the office of deputy chairman of the European Committee in the Saxon state parliament.

Anja Klotzbücher lives in Dresden .
