Anja Kroll

Anja Kroll (born February 7, 1963 , in Konstanz ) is a paraglider pilot of German nationality. She lives in Switzerland and competes for Swiss teams. In 2006, she and her team won the European Championship in Morzine and was overall World Cup winner in 2007 and 2008 .

Life

Growing up in Germany, Kroll moved to Switzerland in 1999 and has lived in Aargau since 2014 . She studied computer science (FH) and is an IT project manager and manager . Kroll has been a certified yoga teacher (RYT500) since 2016, and founder and partner of yogacompany GmbH since 2017.

Paragliding

Kroll started paragliding in 2001 and has competed regularly since 2003. She has been a pilot in the Swiss Paragliding League since 2004 and joined the Swiss national team in 2006. With her team she won the European Championship in Morzine in 2006 and came second in the Swiss Paragliding Championship in Monte Lema that same year . In the same year she was third in the overall World Cup for women paragliders. In 2007 and 2008 she was first in the Swiss paragliding championship and in the overall world cup. In 2009 she defended the Swiss championship for the third time in a row and won the Cross Country Cup .
