Anja Milenkovič (born June 23, 1982 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian soccer player.

Career

society

Milenkovič began playing football with the Slovenian first division club Tiskarna Novo mesto while studying at the University of Ljubljana. In 2000 she left Novo mesto and switched to league rivals ŽNK Jarše. There she scored 14 goals in two seasons in 30 games, which brought her a contract with runner-up ŽNK Domžale in the summer of 2002 . She stayed again for two years at Domzale and scored 14 goals in 29 games before Milenkovič went to champions ŽNK Krka . She made 56 appearances in Krka and scored 9 goals, which helped her move to Italy, where she signed with UPC Tavagnacco in the summer of 2008. After a season in Italy, she moved to the Austrian Super League club SK Kelag Carinthia via the Brenner . On October 27, 2011 she moved from SK Kelag Carinthia to Italy to ASD Calcio Chiasiellis from Mortegliano . After scoring 5 goals in 20 games, she returned to Slovenia and signed for ŽNK Maribor . In summer 2013 she returned to Austria and signed with SG SK Sturm Graz / FC Stattegg .

Milenkovič is a national team player for Slovenia.
