Anja Thiemann (born May 23, 1986 in Berlin ) is a German actress .

Career

Anja Thiemann completed her acting training from 2008 to 2012 at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich.

Before her studies she played the role of Theresa Maria Funke in the Sat.1 - Telenovela Verliebt in Berlin , in the HFF Munich graduation film “In der Ferne das Meer” , which was awarded a “Predicate Valuable”, and took part in the film acting workshop of the Baden Film Academy in 2007. Anja Thiemann completed her first theater engagement at Theater Erlangen . She played there u. a. in the process of Franz Kafka the laundress and Miss Bürstner, in Called Gospodin of Phillipp Löhle and Orlando by Virginia Woolf .

The movie Die Brunnenfrau , in which she plays the leading female role alongside actor Jochen Nickel , was awarded the short film beaver at the Biberach Film Festival in 2014 and received the audience award for first aid at the Lünen Cinema Festival .

As a presenter and editor, she worked for the international Berlin radio station multicult.fm and has also been a voice actor since 2017 (including Shelly in Ladybird by Greta Gerwig ).
