Architecture and history
The four and a half story building was built in the late 19th century in the neo-renaissance style . The facade of the plastered house, reminiscent of a palazzo , is rusticated on the ground floor . The window openings are designed as round arches on the ground floor , while the windows on the piano nobile are provided with elaborately designed roofs. The house has a mezzanine floor , the small windows of which are partly designed as round arches. There is a gate passage on the ground floor.
The building is a testimony to the development of the district in the Wilhelminian era and is therefore relevant to the history of architecture and urban construction. In addition, as part of the Wilhelminian style street, it is considered to be significant in terms of urban planning.
The building is listed as a residential building under registration number 094 71434 in the local monument register.
