Ann Mari Falk

Ann Mari Falk (* 1916 in Stockholm Sweden ; † 1988 ) was a Swedish author of books for children and young people and a translator .

Life

After attending the French school in Stockholm, Falk did a commercial apprenticeship and worked as an insurance clerk from 1935 to 1951. Since the 1940s she has mainly published books for children and young people, which have been translated into many languages. She was already over 70 when the last of her more than 60 books were published in Sweden.

In many cases, Falk's children's books describe life in healthy families and, above all, portray life there from the positive side.
