Anna Arrowsmith , also known under the pseudonym Anna Span (* 1971 in Kent , Great Britain ), is a British director and producer of pornographic films and a politician . Life

Arrowsmith is the daughter of British financial expert Clive Thompson. She studied media art at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and made her first pornographic film in 1998 as part of her studies. Then she switched to television. The first episode of their show Eat Me / Keep Me was a huge hit, and around 100 more episodes followed. Span later founded her own company and publishes her films under the label Anna Span's Diary .

Span's films are not female porn in the usual sense, but rather humorous porn stories that were filmed from a female point of view. This is also one of the reasons why Span's recording team consists almost entirely of women. In her films, Span also likes to humorously poke fun at her compatriots, be it the police, the health service or the well-known British service. Her film Hug a Hoodie won five UK Adult Film Awards in 2007: Best Director , Best Female Actress , Best Reality Porn Film , Best Softcore Production .

In March 2010, she announced that she was running as a candidate for the Liberal Democrats in the UK general election.

Arrowsmith is married and lives near Tunbridge Wells .
