Anna Buchheim

Anna Buchheim (born 1965 ) is a German psychologist , psychoanalyst and university professor.

Life

Anna Buchheim studied sociology from 1987 to 1988 at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . In 1988 she moved to the University of Regensburg and began studying psychology with a focus on clinical psychology, which she graduated in 1994 with a diploma. In 2000 she received her doctorate from the Medical Faculty of Ulm University as Dr. biol. hum. with the topic of attachment representation, emotion abstraction patterns and narrative style: A computer-aided text analysis of the adult attachment interview . With her habilitation in 2008 she received the venia legendi for psychosomatic medicine, psychotherapy and medical psychology at the medical faculty of the University of Ulm. Since 2007 she has held the chair for clinical psychology at the University of Innsbruck, where she is the dean of the faculty for sports science and psychology. Her research focuses on psychoanalysis, clinical attachment research , psychotherapy and prevention research as well as the connection to the neurosciences .

She completed her psychoanalytic training from 1996 to 2004 and is a member of the German Psychoanalytic Association (DPV). As a visiting professor, she also teaches at the International Psychoanalytic University of Berlin .
