Anna Exl
Anna Exl , born in Anna Gstöttner , (born August 3, 1882 in Innsbruck ; † November 15, 1969 there ) was an Austrian theater and film actress.
Life
Anna Exl was the wife of the founder and director of the Exl stage , Ferdinand Exl . From 1941, shortly before the death of her husband, she took over this stage, where she worked as an actress for many years, together with her daughter Ilse . Anna Exl was also an honorary member of the Tiroler Landestheater in Innsbruck. As an actress, she also starred in a number of mostly home-related films. Exl's younger sister Mimi Gstöttner-Auer was also active as an actress in films and on the Exl stage.
In 1957 she was awarded the Innsbruck Ring of Honor.
