Ilse Exl , married Ilse Innerhofer (born November 26, 1907 in Innsbruck ; † July 8, 1956 there ) was an Austrian theater and film actress and theater director.
Life
Ilse Exl was born in Innsbruck as the daughter of Ferdinand Exl , actor and founder and long-time director of the Exl stage , and the actress Anna Exl . At the age of 13 she appeared on stage for the first time in Karl Schönherr's children's tragedy . As a result, she often played in her father's theater, including Anna Birkmair in Der Pfarrer von Kirchfeld , Vroni in Perjury and Horlacher-Lies in G'wissenswurm by Ludwig Anzengruber or Sonnleitnerin in Schönherrs Weibsteufel . She later starred in several films. After the death of her father in 1942, she took over the management of the Exl-Bühne, which ceased operations a few months after her early death in 1956.
